In the year 1977, When Elvis Presley died, There were approximately 170 Elvis impersonators.
In the year 2000, 23 years after Elvis Presley died, Someone applied The power of statistics To the number of Elvis impersonators Currently active.
By comparing the numbers It was extrapolated That the number of impersonators Is increasing rapidly

Day 6 - Fav. creature/beast/hybrid.
First thought: Oy. But Oy’s people, not a creature/beast/hybrid. So that being the case, I’d have to say the lobstrosities. *shudders* Face it, those things are freaky.

Day 5 - Dream cast for Roland.
The obvious answer is, of course, Clint Eastwood. So no. Instead, I’d go with Neil McDonough. When I watched Tin Man a few years back, as soon as he showed up, my first thought was, “Well, we now have Roland Deschain.”

Dark Tower 38 Day Challenge Day 3 and 4
Computer went wonky on me yesterday, so two entries today :)
Day 3 - Favorite antagonist and why
Randall mother-luvin’ Flagg, hands down. Yeah, he gets a completely weak ending of things, but the man (or whatever type of entity he is) is a total BAMF. His little chat with the Tik-Tok man at the end of Book 3 still brings a smile to my face.

Day 2 - Favorite protagonist and why
It’s a tough call between Eddie and Jake, but I’m going to have to go with Eddie. Besides the fact that I do have a soft spot for wisecrackers, I love the way he grows throughout the series from the “Get me out of here so I can score” to a true gunslinger.

Dark Tower Challenge Day 1
Day 1 - How did you get into The Dark Tower?
I must have started reading Stephen King stuff in 7th or 8th grade, not sure when. Early enough that I do remember reading the original version of The Stand during recess one day in 8th grade. So there I was, working my way through all of his stuff, grabbing a fresh book off the library shelf each visit. And then one day, The Gunslinger was the next...

– Night Watch, Terry Pratchett (via latvianquiet)
1) Before they make this show, we really need to get Kristin to read some Discworld. 2) When they make this show, we really need to find a nice place to watch the torrented copies (since you know BBCA won’t show it to us) together. (PS - This is...
